A policy change in Croydon Council could harm local charities.
Last night I asked the Council why they were pushing ahead with these plans.
- faith groups may no longer be eligible
- Just 63 out of an estimated 1,000 voluntary sector organisations took part in the consultation
- A charity in Selsdon told me they estimate at least a £5,000 loss per annum
Has the impact of this policy really been thought through?
