A year ago councillors from Croydon, Tandridge, Reigate and Banstead joined forces to campaign against the Mayor of London's ludicrous Outer London Boundary Charge.
It could have meant anyone driving across the London border would have been forced to pay the £5.50 daily toll - impacting thousands of families and businesses. I wrote about it here: https://www.mariocreatura.org.uk/news/scrap-labours-london-entry-tax
Thankfully, the Mayor saw sense and today announced he would be scrapping the toll!
