It was great to have so many locals out helping with my little pick in Milne Park yesterday.
Despite looking quite clean, scratch just beyond the surface and many bags of waste were found - including my personal highlight, a pile of soiled nappies...
One volunteer who came from Kenley wanted to help out because he was born in a house on Milne Park Avenue. Another regularly brings his three sons out volunteering in the community to teach them to be proud about their neighbourhood - an inspiration for us all!
